On Saturday may 17th, Classic Thunderbird club along with the Fox Valley Club met at Elkhart Lake for a fun filled day at Road America.  We had a great breakfast at Marsh Park prior to entering the park.  Lunch was with in the Road America track.  Some of us stopped at Ernie Van Slatehorn dealer in Random Lake on the way back too.  The day was set aside for vintage race car races with a break during the lunch hour where our two clubs were allowed on the 4 mile plus track for a few laps.  It was exciting to drive the curved track, much different from an oval.  We were escorted by a lead car and got the feel after a couple laps.  The weather was wonderful.
